TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THE FLS WEBSITE INTEGRATED REGISTRATION PORTAL

I understand that by accepting this agreement, I grant the Friends of Laura Secord (FLS) permission to save my registration details in their database for their exclusive use. These details may be used to contact me with pertinent information for FLS-related events and activities, but will not be shared with or sold to third parties except for the delivery of information, goods and services requested specifically by me, and pertaining directly to the Friends of Laura Secord and its mandate. 

I understand that this website and the materials on it (including maps, multimedia resources, photos, text, and all other information) have been developed to share information about Laura Secord and her legacy, and to assist me with planning and participating in FLS activities. It is a one-stop information portal where users can access their user profiles; register as FLS volunteers or as website content contributors; access online shopping to purchase FLS membership, FLS events, optional add-ons, and make donations. I recognize that the website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis.

The Friends of Laura Secord, its President, Directors, sponsors, funding agencies, affiliates, and all other stakeholders in the Friends of Laura Secord initiative, take no responsibility for the accuracy of, use of, misuse of, inability to use, or reliance upon, the website and associated materials, including links to external websites.

My use of this website and associated materials is solely at my own risk, as are my activities at any of the events and at any of the destinations. Road, weather, traffic and trail conditions vary continuously, and I agree to contact credible local authorities to confirm the current status of roads, trails, and cycling routes before commencing any trip.

I have been encouraged to consult my doctor or other medical adviser before commencing physical activity.

I understand that though the FLS and its members strive for accuracy, they cannot guarantee that the information provided on this site is one hundred per cent accurate. Portrayal of places, products, and points of interest on this site is not an endorsement of the facilities, businesses and services found there, nor is it a guarantee of their quality, accessibility, reliability or cost.

I agree that I will not read or view maps or multimedia content while driving or cycling. I will not hike or cycle alone. I will inform others of my route, and will carry a cell phone in case of emergency. I agree to respect the rights of local residents and property owners, and I will not trespass. I will walk, cycle and drive safely, obey the rules of the road, wear a bicycle helmet and appropriate protective footwear and other apparatus as required.

My use of this website and my participation in any FLS event or activity is conditional upon my understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions in this document.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I am waiving substantial legal rights on my behalf and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and next of kin, including giving up my right to sue.
