Wetland Ridge Side Trail

Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

gENERAL INFORMATION

This side trail leaves the Bruce Trail as it travels through Woodend Conservation Area. It heads down the escarpment and follows the edge of a vineyard to emerge at a reclaimed wetland. Interpretive signs have been placed among benches providing visitors with the perfect opportunity to enjoy and educate themselves about the wildlife and habitat of the wetland. The side trail ends at the Niagara college greenhouse. For those interested in extending their hike, Woodend Conservation Area is home to two additional trails. After you hike, stop into the Niagara College restaurant or wine store where students are able to practice the crafts they are learning.
